Miller, Laura Biography | Schedule Hometown: Columbus, OH Website: Fool's Crown Giganta Laura (de Brier) Miller grew up with a love for music. Laura’s father, though not a musician himself, did share his interest in collecting and listening to his 
wealth of recordings with her. In her early teens, Laura decided she wanted
to play guitar, and after much coaxing Laura’s mother finally bought her one.
Although she did not play guitar in her first band, Laura was playing shows at the
age of 16 as a singer in a hardcore band called Silent Majority. Shortly thereafter
Laura soon determined her passion was to pursue playing heavy guitar. Since the late
80's Laura has played
guitar in many local metal bands including Roadkill, Ouchcube and Kingsize.
Currently Laura plays guitar for Fool's Crown
and the all female rock band Giganta.
Laura’s influences include such guitarists as Diamond Darrell (Dimebag),
Greg Ginn and Stephen Edgerton.
