How to choose and order the right case for you Never hesitate to call us 614-274-7246 Step 1: Look in the second column of the chart "Bare Inside Dims" and look for the dimensions of the case that is close to what you need. Step 2: Decide what foam thickness you need. This usually depends on the items you are shipping. Electronics need more foam, non-breakables such as graphics and costumes need less. Remember, when you choose your foam thickness you will loose space on the inside of the case. You need to subtract the foam thickness from the "Bare Inside Dims" on each wall of the case. For example if you choose a case with Bare Inside Dims of 21" X 21" X 21" and line it with 1" foam, you will be left with a usable space of 19" X 19" X 19". Step 3: Decide on any available wheel options. Look in the last column to the right "Options" and see if there are any wheel options available for the size you have chosen. Look at the Key at the top of the chart for a definition of the abbreviations. Remember, some options such as the Pull-out Handle and Tilt Wheels take up 1 1/2 inches of height on the interior of the case in addition to the foam. Step 4: Now you are ready to assemble the part number of your case. Part numbers are assembled in the following manner: case number-foam thickness-wheel option In the first column you will see the part number with -xx as an extension. Look at the key above the chart "Part Number Key" and apply the extension to the foam thickness you have chosen. For example, if you have chosen part number 21800-xx and want to line the case with 1" foam, you would end up with part number 21800-10. Then if you want wheels on the case such as casters, you will see in the "Options Key" that C is the abbreviation for Casters. Thus in our example you would order part number 21800-10-C.
